CHARLOTTE RUSSE: Digital & Print

As the Lead Editorial Copywriter, I led the brand's storytelling through e-commerce and print content, including in-store signs, email, homepage concepts, and copy. I also rewrote the Editorial Style Guide and managed a junior copywriter. Each week, the Art Director and I would present the creative and copy assets to our leadership team.


 

Spring 2019 Campaign

For our spring 2019 campaign, the creative team and I came up with the “Global Trek” concept. It celebrated trendy pieces worthy of a great escape. The copy spoke to cross-cultural looks that were inspired by our customer’s past travels and the lives they dreamed of living: sitting in Paris cafes to road trips all over the West Coast. I worked with the Art Director, junior copywriter, and marketing team to deliver a seamless connection between the brand and product worlds.


Spring 2019: Campaign Concepts

We presented our CEO with campaign ideas for how the copy would unfold throughout the campaign.

Beauty Campaign

When I first came on, the brand had recently launched its beauty brand, Charlotte by Charlotte Russe. The goal was to immediately elevate the work an agency had completed for the launch. I used my beauty background to find more fun ways to showcase these amazing products.

New Year’s Refresh

For our 2019 New Year’s campaign, the idea was to invite customers to give their wardrobe a refresh as a way to celebrate imagining who they could become in the new year. This handle and tagline lived on all of our print and digital assets, and our analytics and increased revenue proved that it resonated with our customer.


Denim Fit Signs

We updated the copy and creative for all of our in-store denim signs to align with our recent rebrand. I was tasked with creating signs that made it seamless for our customers to find their perfect fits.
